Itineraries and Prices

One of the unique features of Precious Yacht Charters is that we explore secret destinations that most people don't know about, can't get to, or can't find. We want to keep it that way, and don't want to publish too much on the web. Therefore, we'll keep you in suspense of your exact, custom designed itinerary until your arrival in Port Hardy. Suffice to say that the scenery and marine life is like no place else on earth - you won't be disappointed.

Activities - What do you want to do?

Sailing, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, dinghy exploring, hiking, clam and oyster digging, prawn and crabbing, swimming, berry picking, reading, card games, picnic lunches, restaurants, cooking, sunset cruises.

Sightseeing - What do you want to see?

Whale watching, sea lion (big ones - 3000 pounds!) gazing, grizzly sightseeing, eagles, expansive beaches, First Nations culture and history, peaceful anchorages, Island vegetation and berries, local characters and resorts, high-end resorts, museums...

Other Factors that assist us in designing your Itinerary

- Will you want access to the Internet?

- Are you willing to pay extra for expert fishing guides, whale experts, and grizzly biologists. NOTE: These excursions have limited availability. Advance bookings are essential.

- Would you like to spend a few extra days doing land-based activities while you're visiting the north island? There's so much to do and see. Allow us to assist in coordinating your visit.

- Do you consider this a holiday of "relaxation" or "action-packed" or a bit of both?

- Would you prefer a holiday of complete "isolation" or a bit of both?

2007 Prices

Our charters include your Captain, prepared meals, non-alcoholic beverages, fuel, linens, mooring fees, and transportation to and from Port Hardy airport.

Not included are sales taxes (6% GST), alcoholic beverages (at cost), customary gratuity and transportation to and from Port Hardy.

Prices are in Canadian dollars.  For 4-7 day charters our rate is $800 per 24-hour day for 2 guests. For each additional guest add $50.00 per day. The maximum capacity is 6 guests (3 doubles).

A sample charter of 5 days and nights for 4 people would be $4500 or $225 per person per day. For 3 couples the same charter would be  $5000 or $167 per person per day for a trip of a lifetime.

We also offer custom designed day charters during the shoulder seasons

Cuisine

Sailing adventures create healthy appetites - particularly when you're cruising in one of the worlds greatest fresh seafood environments. Once you've booked your charter vacation, we will send you a checklist of food preferences and menu items that provides us with a guide to ensuring that your culinary experience is as delightful as your voyage. It's important that all food allergies and dislikes are disclosed at this time.

Depending on your fish and seafood cravings, our catch of the day will determine many of your menu selections. The Broughton Islands are famous for fresh prawns, Dungeness crab, and a great variety of salmon, halibut, cod and snapper. You may decide to spend a few evenings dining at the docks of some very unique local establishments, or hang out at anchor in the peaceful solitude provided by Mother Nature

When you book your charter, we will contact you to determine any special requests you may have.  Vegetarian and special diets are also available.
